Sorry for delay in replying ...

Unfortunately there is no way to a tray icon in murgaLua yet.

...

Very nice mam...There is a possible update to use Tray Icons in Murga Lua...i was wondering about this, i was searching for a Lua Gui who have this feature...so i dont have success, Wx is Biggest than Fltk and keep Lua philosophy..."be small", but have a Tray function...with their bugs but have it, Gtk2...i cant compile it yet...i found a very quite example to use tray icons "tray controls" in Fltk, right...

...So if u'll say that this feature can be add on MurgaLua 0.7 ill be very happy...
Hi,

Mi initial reply was going to be :

Quote:
This feature would be inherently non-portable, implementing it for Windows is easy ... Linux would be a little harder (I'd have to look at how "AllTray" does it), and Mac doesn't even have a system tray does it ? (I don't know MacOS that well, maybe it does).

The source at http://www.imm.uklinux.net/fl_tray_icon.html could easily be converted to run as a murgaLua module (a lua module compiled for murgaLua), but it is something that I don't think I'll have time for any time soon ...

Actually ... It is so trivial for Windows that I might just write the module :-)

No promises as to when I'll get time though ...

Cheers
