db:busy_timeout might do the trick. It looks like the default value is zero, meaning it doesn't wait at all if there is a busy condition. I haven't been able to try it yet.

murgaLua.getHostOsName() returns "linuxStatic" on Linux. Documentation states 'Returns the OS murgaLua was build for, currently one of "linux", "windows" or "macos"'.

alien.platform serves the same purpose, but it yields 'linux' and murgaLua.getHostOsName() yields 'linuxStatic'.
