Well, we have no more SPAM. Since there seems to be a chilling silence here, I just want to say that I found a way to handle serial data in a nonblocking way without the serial module, in Linux. ...

Hi John, I found this in the MyBB forum: http://community.mybboard.net/showthread.php?tid=23776 Perhaps it helps. Don't know much about MyBB, but seems simple and up to date. HTH, ///Pablo

Post: RE: Updated roadmap

In my case, i would like to see both things: Stable serial modules for lua 5.1 and have these modules in murgaLua (perhaps as a compile time build option). I don't know much about cinvoke, but woul...

I would vote again for a serial module! At least, for Linux! As chrimo said, luax had it and Asko Kauppi was going to port it to luarocks anytime but not yet. He had some newer code available at s...

Post: RE: murgaLua: cannot load shared libraries?

Ok, now I got it. The fact that was misleading me is that upx compression hides the real required libraries from ldd. If you run ldd on a not-yet-upx´ed binary, here shows the real dependencies:...

Well, having that as compile time option is great! I hope to be able to craft a T2 package for murgaLua as soon as I finish dealing with some weird build problems I am having... BTW, John, do yo...

I understood murgaLua executable had all lua+fltk+sqlite used libraries compiled into it. Since I don't need fltk libraries to run murgaLua, I did not expected to need libsqlite either. Does it ...

Ok, I managed to build my own murgaLua "by hand" (used the script build-murgaLua-Linux.sh as a guide) on the same buildroot the "small linux" was built with. I get my brand new murgaLua_nonXft that...
