Post: RE: Escape Key exits window

This could be a very useful way to make a more friendly application. point 1: Many people are accustomed to pressing Esc to cancel an action or close a transient window, but not so much to close a ma...

Hmmm..... The first one exits immediately. If I remove the "else os.exit(0)" then it shows a blank window which doesn't appear to accept any events. The second one results in a segmentation faul...

The segfault was related to event 0, apparently. I changed it to fltk.FL_MOUSEWHEEL and it seems to work. That's really impressive.

Post: RE: animations in murgalua

Attached is an animated image sequence demo. It uses a repeat button as a cheat for an actual loop, which I guess should not be needed with murgaLua 0.5 From John's recent drawing tests it seems lik...

This is an extension of the animation test from earlier today, with inspiration from John's work with drawing objects. I'm really looking forward to murgaLua 0.5, because this socket.sleep() function...

ahhh... I added "if Fl:event(fltk.FL_PUSH) then break end" to the while loop, and it closes immediately (usually). There seems to be some issue with pressing Esc and then clicking, but it usually wor...

Messed around with it some more. I still haven't gotten a good delay going on; in fact the current one seems to be more annoying than the previous, but I'm taking a break from it for a while. It's ...

The timing is a half-baked hack, which still needs work or replacement Originally it used socket.sleep() only, but every event, including exit, had to wait the length of the sleep time before perform...

That's pretty cool. I definitely have to look into that autoplay. Unfortunately it will need some tweaks to work on my system. The animation doesn't "animate", in that there is usually a set number ...

That last one is awesome! Next step would be to give the squares a random size with overlap =o) The circles demo segfaults on my system.
