Post: RE: [WIP] MurgaLua Reference Tool

The external editor has been put back in. It requires the user to either edit the main script or set a variable on the commandline (murgaLua -e "ext_editor=[[something]]" widgets.lua) The added button...

Most of them will work fine as-is, but those that use the images directory need the directory added to them (there are 7 or 8 of them, I think). The old version of the demos package had all of the ...

Debian Wheezy. Can't recall having any issues since switching from DSL/TinyCore, although I might have needed to install a c library other than the default, but that's not an uncommon thing. Still...

I have a belief that a person can be too picky about web server performance if that server is on a personal machine and does not have much traffic. When you consider the fact that most people's machi...

I never noticed io.stdin until you added the example in this RC That will likely have many uses. It seems to work as expected with Linux pipes =oD

I'm not having any luck with proAudio on my box, Debian Lenny with ALSA. The simpleSound example initially got stuck in the sleep loop, then after changing "if not proAudio.create() then os.exit(1) e...

No problems with it as-is on Wheezy. There are other annoyances I have yet to fix, but those things have nothing to do with murgaLua =o)

I'm guessing you are using Fluid and converting it to Lua. Honestly I don't know a thing about using Fluid, and the code that comes from it looks unusual to me. One thing, for example, is the excess...

As far as minimizing goes, the nearest thing I can think of is window:iconize() -- "window" being the name of your window. My desktop doesn't have a taskbar, so I haven't done anything related to min...

Maybe try adding Fl:check() before you run the executable. Also, Fltk has a built-in message dialog function, so unless you want something that looks a particular way you can use this fltk.fl_messag...

My guess from a quick look, it's not the last TWO lines that are causing the trouble, but the last line by itself. You already did Fl:run() once, and that is sufficient. It is, as far as I can tell,...
