Ooops ... Nope, that doesn't really work as the "\" is being escaped somewhere else ... The simplest thing to do is replace all the "\" with "/" as they both work when opening files / etc ... [code...

BTW ... What I would suggest for this is : + Create an off-screen buffer of the required size (which is a multiple of the tile dimensions). + Draw the re-sized picture to this off-screen buffer...
