Well the docs say that... "FL_DND_* events cannot be used in widgets derived from Fl_Group or Fl_Window." They should work with Fl_Box though. However I still can't get the box to want to accep...

I agree. I have always found Apple Script to be odd and hard to use. It's a carry-over back from the Mac "Classic" operating system. Back when I bought my last non-OSX Mac it shipped with Apple Script...

Hmm... I have never really liked the look of xmms (even with skins). I also found it lacking in some features (such as searching), but Xmms along with QueryXMMS may be just the thing I'm looking for. ...

Well I answered my own question. Putting the "&" at the end of the command does the trick. I'm not sure why it wasn't working before, but now it is.
