iGame3D's uDeadGame

Couldn't have done this without MurgaLua.
In fact pretty much the whole iGame3D project got copied to the download!

Well We've just finished a two month marathon making a game for zombie fans.
Its for a Mac game contest held at http://www.udevgames.com
Voting runs March 5th through 12th.
A vote for us is a vote for John, we can count you right?

Downloads here:
uDeadGame For Mac
http://igame3d.residenteasel.com/udg/uDeadGame.zip
System Requirements: Intel Core Duo, Mac OS X 10.4.11 or 10.5.x

uDeadGame for Windows
http://www.igame3d.com/udg/uDeadGameWin.zip
System Requirements: Win XP or Vista, openGL drivers for video, openAL support on sound card.

Linux users can try Wine, four reports say thats a go!

Hardware Requirements: 1GHZ CPU 1GB RAM 128MB VRAM 200MB HD

Here's the zombie call to action!

When there's no more room in hell, the dead will go to the arcade!

uDeadGame is a 3D action horror first person real time strategy adventure.

You play as the uncanny intelligence for hordes of hungry living dead.
Your goal in the game is to devour all the living on each of the 32 levels.

Battle a cast of characters including thugs, prostitutes, office workers, police,
military, strangely suited guys, and mad scientists.

Revisit good times with surprise guests from previous iGame3D uDevGames entries.

Modulate play between aggresive romps of flesh rending horror and strategic
stalking to minimise casualities from the unbeatable human karate style,
the never ending rain of bullets and those spectacularly lethal grenades.

Slip into zombie time slow motion to better target your dinner and
enjoy your crushing assaults with a cinematic style.

This is a game every zombie in your family will love.

What are you waiting for zombies?
Get out there and shred some flesh!

Feedback is always welcome!

RE: iGame3D's uDeadGame

I would like to vote, but I couldn't do it in good conscience. It's nothing to do with the worth of your project or the worth of murgaLua, but simply because my machine doesn't come anywhere near the needed specs to run it, and the internet speeds out here in the woods aren't anywhere near enough to bother downloading it in the hopes that it might give me a few fps. If I don't know anything about the game I can't vote, knowing that I'm just stuffing a ballot box.

I do have faith in your abilities, so I would suggest that anyone with the capability to check it out and VOTE! =o)

That really is a shame.
"One of the best programmers Murga-Projects ever saw, and he can't play space cowboy in the back woods." --pseudo quote from Tron.

Really need to get you some hardware somehow!

mikshaw, it's a good feeling knowing I'm not the only one stuck in the previous century.

I expect more people will be trying to resurrect their junk PCs with puppylinux now that the global economy is circling the drain.

What? no not another one!
Thats it I'm setting up a tent city in the back yard with wireless internet and Macs!
Hitch your mule to your wagon and come to Colorado.

We gonna have ourselves a software religious revival.
"..and the lord Steve saw the high speed internets and said 'its insanely great!'.
Then the angel of iGame3D came over the land and the dead walked the earth.
Can I get a Hallelujah, Amen"

RE: iGame3D's uDeadGame

I think I might be okay for 3D in a little while. My nephew is apparently getting a laptop sometime this spring or summer, and rather than throw his current desktop away (which the little monster would probably do if his dad didn't prevent it) I believe it will end up in my hands. I don't know what the processor is, but I know it recently had ram and video upgrades.

RE: iGame3D's uDeadGame

Praise the motherboard!
Let me know when you get upgraded, and maybe keep a list of stuff
thats too insanely large to download and I'll burn you a fat DVD or three.

Had a few of those for you this time last year, then the SHTF.

RE: iGame3D's uDeadGame

Here's something interesting.
Checking the hit statistics for my website, murga-projects is the top referrer!
At least 150 more hits from this forum than any other place on the net.

I wonder how many hits murga-projects alone gets in a month.
Who are the people looking into murgaLua and what are they up
to once they've gotten ahold of it?

Wish I had a magic persuasion skill and could get more users
to do amazing things with it, we've barely touched on its potential.

RE: iGame3D's uDeadGame

How comes it that you have two users...did you set up a separate account for two different access points?

Or maybe you are actually two people...or just two personalities...
