Hello John, and everyone. I have been getting interested in a serious
effort to master Lua, and have been very impressed with your work on
murgaLua, John.

I'm also interested in Second Life and Open Metaverse, and was hoping
to apply Lua to those environments, since it is such an elegant language.

The problem with Second Life is that the grid is not open source;
the problem with Open Metaverse is that the project seems to be at
a standstill. Nevertheless I was resolved to attempt some kind of Lua
application in this area, with the aim of some open and more scalable solution
- until yesterday, when I saw this video:

The first half is only of historical interest, and can be ignored. The second half
is a demo of Croquet. The kicker is in the final MINUTE - when the size of the
entire system (including its own 'operating system') is revealed: 2.8Megs.
And they estimate they can reduce that by A FACTOR OF TEN within a year.

For the moment, I am in a state of shock Smile Any comments?
