RE: Croquet

Well, no takers so far Smile I apologise if this thread is OT and perhaps even less than polite in this context, but I have been exploring Croquet further and it seems to me the most exciting peice of software I've seen since Mosaic. There is even a potential role for Lua:

http://www.croquetconsortium.org/index.php/Road_Map
"The idea is that, through a simple and familiar interface, end users will be able to access the power of Croquet technology easily and efficiently and develop compelling applications and simulations (and without the need to program in Squeak)."

The project is still in the development stage, obviously, but does anyone think it is a candidate for inclusion in a future version of Puppy Linux? It's nothing less than the *real* Web 2.0!

Think 1994: AOL=SecondLife, Croquet=WWW

OK, I won't bother you all any more if it's not of interest here. Any thoughts, John?
